Westchester Parks Foundation and Westchester County Park Announce Dates for 2025 Bicycle Sundays Season

Westchester Parks Foundation and Westchester County Parks today announced dates for the 51st Annual Bicycle Sundays season for 2025. During this annual event, bicyclists, skaters, joggers and walkers will take over 6.5 miles of the Bronx River Parkway. The program kicks off May 4 and will continue every Sunday in May, June, July and September – except Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day weekends.  The program is presented by Westchester County Parks and sponsored by the Westchester Parks Foundation and its partners, through generous donations from co-presenting sponsors Con Edison and NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester.  Danny Cycles in Scarsdale is the official Bicycle Sponsor. The event attracts more than 60,000 residents and visitors each year,

Residents and visitors this year can enjoy earlier hours on Sundays in June and July as noted below:

  • May 4, 11, 18 *10 a.m.-2 p.m.
  • June 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 *8 a.m.- Noon Only
  • July 13, 20, 27 *8 a.m.-Noon Only
  • September 7, 14, 21, 28 *10 a.m.- 2 p.m.
  • October 5 *10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Bicycle Sundays have been a beloved Westchester tradition since 1974. Since 2012, this program has been funded by Westchester Parks Foundation and its partners. Each year, thousands of cyclists, joggers, and others come out to enjoy the curves and wooded scenery that make the nation’s first parkway a national historic landmark.
