Westchester County Youth Bureau and Youth Board Open Nominations for 2025-2026 Youth Service Awards

The Westchester County Youth Bureau and Youth Board are seeking nominations for the annual Youth Service Awards, which recognizes 11th and 12th grade students living in Westchester County who have demonstrated exemplary commitment to others through volunteerism and leadership.

The award criteria are described more fully on the nomination form, which can be accessed on the Youth Bureau website. The completed form must be emailed back to YouthAwards@westchestercountyny.gov and be received by January 8, 2026 at 5 p.m. The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2025 at 5 p.m. at the Michaelian Office Building in White Plains.

Westchester County Youth Board Chairperson Dr. Alexandria Connally said: “The Westchester County Youth Service Awards highlight and celebrate the remarkable innovation, creativity and ingenuity of the young people in our County. This program shines a spotlight on youth who are not only excelling academically and personally, but who are also using their talents and passions to create positive change. It recognizes their outstanding achievements as well as their dedication to strengthening their communities through service, advocacy and collaboration.”
