Jenkins said: “Black History Month is a time to reflect on Black Americans’ resilience, achievements and cultural impact throughout our Nation’s history. Here in Westchester, we are home to generations of trailblazers who have led the way in arts, education, business and activism. As the first Black County Executive, I recognize the significance of this moment and the responsibility that comes with it.”
