Westchester Children’s Association Announces Annual Commissioners’ Conversation on Children

The Westchester Children’s Association invites the community to attend the annual Commissioners’ Conversation on Children on Thursday, June 11 at 8:15 am at the Greenburgh Public Library.

Now in its fourth year, this important community conversation brings together Westchester County Commissioners, Executive Directors, nonprofit leaders, educators, advocates, and residents to discuss the most pressing issues impacting children, youth, and families across Westchester County.

Attendees will hear updates, insights, and strategies from county leaders on a range of critical topics, including youth mental health, education, workforce readiness, public health, and equitable access to resources and opportunities. The event is designed to foster collaboration, increase awareness of current challenges, and highlight solutions that support children and families throughout the county.

This year’s event will also feature the release of Children by the Numbers, the biennial report published by the Westchester Children’s Association that provides a snapshot of how children are doing in Westchester County. The report highlights key data and trends related to child well-being and serves as an important tool for policymakers, service providers, and community members.

The Commissioners’ Conversation on Children is generously sponsored by Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital and Hudson Valley Credit Union.

“The Commissioners’ Conversation on Children creates an opportunity for the community to hear directly from county leaders and engage in meaningful dialogue about the future of our children,” said Adam Rabinovitch, Executive Director of WCA. “By bringing together voices from across sectors, we can better understand the challenges families face and work collectively toward solutions that ensure every child in Westchester has the opportunity to thrive.”

The event is free and open to the public. Advance registration is required: https://tinyurl.com/WCACommConvo2026
