SPCA Westchester is proud to announce this year’s honorees for its upcoming Tails of Hope Rescue Gala, taking place on Saturday, October 19th at their state-of-the-art Rescue Center in Briarcliff Manor. This inspiring and memorable event is not your standard Gala and includes VIP access to meet some of the most adorable adoptable animals via the SPCA’s signature puppy and kitten cuddle stations.
“We are thrilled to honor Lisa LaRocca and Lisa Salvadorini of News 12 as they’ve been such incredible supporters and advocates for pet adoption,” says Shannon Laukhuf, SPCA Westchester’s CEO. Both are also proud parents to SPCA alumni, Madison and Chaco, who are frequently featured on their social media pages and highlight how rewarding and important it is to adopt.
This year’s Scarlett Chwatko Youth Award recipient is being presented to Aidan Feldgoise of Scarsdale, NY. “Aidan, a Rising Volunteer at SPCA Westchester, not only coordinates community events for our new mobile adoption vehicle, he also generously lends a helping hand to ensure our adoptions events are a great experience for the animals and adopters.”
Gala attendees will also enjoy live music, a fabulous silent and live auction, a heartwarming video presentation and a delicious dinner and open bar. All proceeds benefit the SPCA’s lifesaving rescue and community outreach programs and the 5,500 homeless and companion animals served every year. Tickets to SPCA Westchester’s Tails of Hope Rescue Gala can be purchased online at spcawestchester.org or please email Lisa@spcawestchester.org for more information.
