The 2026 Northwell Walk to Raise Health at Westchester raised $88,918 and counting. Among the 525 registered participants, a group of radiology professionals led the way, raising an astounding $25,800 for the Walk — the highest amount raised by any team across the entire Northwell Health system’s six Walk locations this year.

The driving force behind their success is Laura Cafarchio-Altieri, who works in imaging at Phelps Hospital. She led her team, fittingly named the “Imaging Avengers,” in fundraising, topping $4K raised herself. She went door to door, organized raffles and much more, pushing to be the top team.
Across all six locations, Northwell raised over $1.3 million — setting a new record — with more than 5,000 participants
