The Village of Croton-on-Hudson celebrated a new landmark on Wednesday with the dedication of a gateway clock at the pocket park at Maple Commons. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by members of the Village Board, the Planning Board, Regan Development and residents of Maple Commons.
Funding for the streetscape improvement was provided by generous contributions from Regan Development Corp. & Clean Path New York. The remainder was covered by a disbursement from the Village’s recreation trust fund, which is capitalized with payments from builders.
The Advisory Board on the Visual Environment provided guidance on the color for the clock. Installation was performed by the DPW.
