Muscoot Farm is turning the alphabet into an adventure with its September gallery exhibit, “The ABC’s of Muscoot Farm,” in celebration of its 50th Anniversary. The exhibit’s Opening Reception will be on Friday, Sept. 5, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
This imaginative showcase brings to life the history, animals, people and stories that has cemented Muscoot Farm as a beloved Westchester treasure for the past 50 years.
County Executive Ken Jenkins said: “Muscoot Farm has been one of Westchester’s most cherished landmarks for the past 50 years, and this exhibit showcases why. ‘The ABC’s of Muscoot Farm’ captures the spirit of the farm in a way that’s educational and inspiring. It’s reminds us of the vital role Muscoot plays in connecting our community to history, agriculture and the natural world.”
Commissioner of the Westchester County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation Kathy O’Connor said: “Muscoot Farm is our most popular destination in Northern Westchester and for 50 years has been a destination that families return to again and again. This exhibition ‘spells out’ why so many people from Westchester and beyond visit Muscoot so often.”
Starting on Sept. 13, the exhibit will be on display in the Main House weekends throughout the month from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors of all ages can enjoy exploring Muscoot Farm in a whole new way: one letter at a time.
