Croton-on-Hudson Police Department DWI Campaign

The Croton-on-Hudson Police Department will be participating in special enforcement efforts during the month of August to bring awareness to the dangers of impaired driving.

In a combined effort to bring awareness to the dangers of impaired driving, prevent injuries and save lives, the Croton-on-Hudson Police Department and officers across New York State will be participating in special engagement efforts known as the STOP-DWI High Visibility Engagement Campaign.

The August 100 Days of Summer Campaign will take place on July 31-August 3, and August 8-10. The End of Summer Campaign will take place from August 13 to September 1.

The High Visibility Engagement Campaign is one of many statewide initiatives promoted by STOP-DWI New York and the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee. The campaign also targets Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, the Holiday Season and St. Patrick’s Day.

Highly visible, highly publicized efforts like the STOP-DWI High Visibility Engagement Campaign aim to further reduce the incidents of drunk and impaired driving.
