Applications are now open for the Westchester Parks Foundation’s (WPF) 2025 Camp Morty summer camp season, providing unforgettable experiences and valuable life skills to underserved children and teens from across Westchester County.
Camp Morty, a free outdoor residential camp program, offers children aged 8–17 who are receiving services from Westchester County’s Department of Social Services (DSS) an opportunity to build friendships, confidence, and lifelong memories. The camp sessions will run from June 29 through August 8 at the scenic Sal J. Prezioso Mountain Lakes Park in North Salem.
In addition to its traditional summer programming, Camp Morty will continue hosting its specialized teen program, “Merriwood Teen Empowerment” for campers aged 13–15. Participants will engage in workshops on entrepreneurship, emotional well-being, and environmental education.
A special highlight for the 2025 season includes the continuation of Sibling Week (July 20–July 25), uniquely designed to allow biological and foster siblings as young as 6 years old to attend together, reinforcing sibling bonds and family connections through shared experiences.
Camp Morty provides an array of engaging and enriching activities designed for campers to enjoy. Activities include swimming, sports, arts and crafts, ropes course challenges, environmental education, nature exploration, and more! Campers develop teamwork skills, personal growth, and a deeper appreciation for the natural environment.
Applications are now open. Families can apply by visiting www.campmorty.com.
