Assemblymember Levenberg Hosts Town Hall on Healthcare Cuts and the New York Health Act

In response to federal healthcare cuts driving up premiums and reducing coverage for millions of Americans, Assemblymember Dana Levenberg (AD 95) will host a Healthcare Town Hall at the Desmond-Fish Public Library in Garrison on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

The event will bring together leading healthcare experts to discuss how the New York Health Act (NYHA) offers a bold, state-level solution—guaranteeing comprehensive, universal healthcare for every New Yorker while lowering costs and improving outcomes.

Panelists include:

● Dick Gottfried, Former Assembly Health Chair and Author of the New York Health Act

● Carrie Tracy, Community Service Society of New York

● Dr. Reena Agarwal, Physician

● Dr. Sinam Ward, Psychologist

● Dr. David Watson, Pediatrician

This event is free and open to the public. Attendees will learn how federal cuts are affecting New York families, what the New York Health Act would mean for patients and providers, and how community members can take action to support healthcare justice.
