In this spirit and to support our mission of building awareness and appreciation of Westchester County’s Revolutionary War-era history, RW250 is excited to launch Toast 250! Tavern Nights.
Join us as we kick off the 250th year of these United States with revolutionary trivia, history, heroes, games, music, tavern fare, libations and more at our first Toast 250! at Maud’s Tavern in Hastings-on-Hudson on January 18. Who can host a Toast 250!
Westchester taverns, pubs and inns, historic sites and organizations, municipalities, and local businesses including bars and restaurants,…inside or outdoors…any place people can gather to socialize can be transformed into a Toast 250! experience.
What is a Toast 250!
Toast 250! can be night or day, a family friendly or an adult event—a few hours that transport your patrons or guests back to the American Revolution in Westchester County. Ideas include period reenactors, colonial music & dance, revolutionary trivia, colonial tavern games, tavern decor, as well as food & drink reminiscent of the era. And, of course, the famous thirteen toasts to George Washington! Anything that enhances the experience and celebrates our nation’s 250th birthday.
