Have you noticed the wooden barrels on Broadway and Main Street in Tarrytown? In the spring and summer they are filled with flowers. The planting is done by a small group of volunteers appointed by the Village of Tarrytown to the Tarrytown Beautification Committee (not to be confused with the private beautification foundation). Now, new volunteers are needed to help plant before Memorial day….just a few hours one day in May.
