Christ Church will be hosting a series of International Dinners open to the community, starting with an authentic Russian Dinner on Saturday night, April 17 at 7 pm in the Christ Church Parish Hall on West Elizabeth Street in Tarrytown.
All funds raised will go to Haiti relief. Prepared by a group of Russian men and women, the evening will include Russian delicacies and appetizers; a full course, sit down dinner and dessert; a lesson in Russian toast-making; a glass of vodka or wine, and dancing to live piano accompaniment. Selected verse and excerpts from Russian Poetry and Literature will round out the evening. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are $30 per person.
