The 47th Annual Polish Heritage Festival will kick off this summer’s series of heritage festivals on Sunday, May 31, from noon to 6 p.m. at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla.
The festival will showcase Polish-American cultural exhibits, polka music, kids’ activities, and vendors selling authentic Polish crafts and food. The 2026 Polish Parade Marshal, Miss Polonia and Junior Miss Polonia will also be there!
Westchester County Parks Commissioner Kathy O’Connor said: “Our Cultural Heritage Festivals offer something for everyone, from vibrant dance and traditional costumes to hands-on arts and crafts and live music. Hosted at Kensico Dam Plaza and Ridge Road Park, these iconic spaces provide a welcoming setting where culture, community, and creativity can truly shine.”
The festivals are all from 12 noon to 6 p.m. and will be held rain or shine. Seating is informal; bring blankets or folding chairs for sitting on the lawn. No coolers will be allowed. Admission and parking are free.*

Kensico Dam Plaza is located at the north end of the Bronx River Parkway, in Valhalla. Ridge Road Park is located at 287 Ridge Road, Hartsdale
Please be advised that on May 31, the Bronx River Parkway will be closed for Bicycle Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. between Scarsdale Road in Yonkers and the Westchester County Center in White Plains. On June 7 and 28, July 12 and 26 the parkway will be closed from 8 a.m. to noon. On Sept. 13 the parkway will be closed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The park can be accessed via Route 22, from the north or south.
