Calling all ghosts, goblins, and fall fanatics! The ultimate Halloween celebration and autumn festival is back, Saturday, Oct. 25, from 1 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Trailside Nature Museum at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation in Cross River. The day will be filled with festive fun, spooky surprises and seasonal magic. Tickets to the event are $25 per person; ages three and under are free. Tickets are on sale now.
Visitors are invited to dress up in their Halloween costume and enjoy a day of trick-or-treating, a costume contest, hay rides, a haunted house, crafts, a birds-of-prey presentation from professional falconer James Eyring, live animals from The Nature Company, professional storyteller David Neilsen and more.
The Oktoberfest, held in the Bergfield section, will feature live music and have food available for purchase until 8:30 p.m.
Event is rain or shine. Children’s activities end at 5:30 p.m. and are available while supplies last. Free parking.
Trailside Nature Museum is located at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation in Cross River, at the junction of Routes 35 and 121 South.
