Rye Arts Center’s Studio 51 Spring Benefit Returns to The Capitol Theatre on May 8

At a moment when the arts need champions more than ever, The Rye Arts Center is celebrating the transformative power of The Arts with the return of its signature Studio 51 Spring Benefit on Friday, May 8.

Inspired by the glamour and decadence of ‘Studio 54’, The Rye Arts Center’s ‘Studio 51’ will transform the iconic Capitol Theatre into an immersive concert and lounge experience—where art, music, and self-expression collide in celebration of creativity and community.

The Rye Arts Center proudly celebrates its 2026 honorees: Shami and Anand Kini, receiving the Champion of the Arts Award for their decades of leadership, generosity, and enduring commitment; Lynn Mara, awarded the Visionary Artist Award for her bold creativity and inspiring engagement with the community; and, debuting this year, the first-ever Mosaic Award goes to The Ground Glass, honoring 50 years of collective artistry, mentorship, and lasting impact on Rye’s creative life.

“Studio 51 is more than a celebration. It’s a powerful reminder of what the arts make possible,” said Adam Levi, Executive Director of

Lynn Mara

The Rye Arts Center. “This year’s honorees embody the spirit of creativity, generosity, and community that sustains our work every day. Their leadership and artistry help ensure that the arts remain a vital force that sparks imagination, opens doors, and shapes lives in ways that ripple far beyond this moment.”

The Rye Arts Center’s biggest party of the year will once again feature culinary delights by Marcia Selden Catering, a premium open bar, and a live performance by Unforgettable Fire, North America’s premier U2 tribute band, celebrated for their polished sounds, iconic repertoire guaranteed to get you on the dance floor.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Kyle Brandt return as Masters of Ceremony, lighting up the room with their signature warmth, irresistible charm, and electric energy. From a high-spirited live auction to standout fundraising moments, they’ll drive exclusive opportunities to support The Rye Arts Center at a crucial moment for the arts. Every dollar raised supports transformative arts-education programs, scholarships, outreach initiatives, and bold arts experiences that uplift our community year-round.

Studio 51 is a call to action: a night that fuels access, amplifies voices, and ensures the arts continue to thrive in our community. Tickets go live on March 24th. For more information, visit ryeartscenter.org.
