Ossining Student Wins Ginsburg Art Contest

Claremont Elementary School student Maryorie Lopez has won first prize in the Ginsburg Art Contest for artwork created in Jack Schursky’s art class.

Maryorie received an art tablet and a $5,000 donation to support Claremont School’s Arts and Education program, courtesy of Ginsburg Development Companies.

“Claremont School is thrilled to win the Ginsburg Art Contest, and we are proud of Maryorie’s creativity and talent!” said Claremont Principal Ferzeen Shamsi.

“We appreciate the value Ginsburg places on the arts program and our multiple literacy goals. We are very proud of all of our students who entered and thrilled that Maryorie Lopez was chosen as the 2026 winner,” added Schursky.
