January’s Art at the Hart Exhibition Showcases High School Artists from Lakeland High School and Walter Panas High School

The John C. Hart Library’s January Art Exhibit features artwork from students at both Lakeland High School and Walter Panas High School throughout the month of January, beginning onThursday, Jan. 8, 2026. The creative artwork transforms the larger community room and main library area with drawings, paintings, digital works, photography, and ceramics.

Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Karen Gagliardi, said, “Lakeland is proud of its continued collaboration with The John C. Hart Library as we share the talents of our students with the local community. It is a pleasure working with the Hart Library on events throughout the year which expand learning experiences, creativity and community involvement.”

“We are always pleased to work together as a department and love being able to give our students the opportunity to exhibit in an active community space,” added Tiffany Dyckman, the co-cordinator of  K-12 Art and member of Lakeland High School’s Art faculty.

In January, the library is open Monday through Thursday 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Noon to 4 p.m. The library is closed on Monday, Jan. 20, 2026 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

The exhibit is free and open to the public as part of the library’s celebration of local artists.
