Award-winning vocalist and performer extraordinaire CeCe Teneal will surely heat up the Winter’s night as she pays tribute to the undisputed legend of Aretha Franklin. Her critically acclaimed Portrait of Aretha comes to the Paramount Hudson Valley theater stage in Peekskill on Sunday, February 16th at 5 p.m. 

Aretha Franklin forever remains the undisputed Queen of Soul. During her legendary 50-year career, she received 18 Grammys, a Grammy Legend Award, and a Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award. The Queen was also awarded the National Medal of Arts and the Presidential Medal of Freedom. 
Franklin’s long list of hits includes “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman”, “Respect”, “Chain of Fools”, “Amazing Grace”, and “I Never Loved A Man The Way, I Love You” and all are in the Grammy Hall of Fame.
CeCe Teneal will celebrate the Queen of Soul with her own deeply moving and soulful interpretations of both beloved hits and lesser-known gems from Franklin’s unequaled career. Teneal won Best R&B Album in 2011 for Train from Osteen and Best Soul/Funk/Fusion in 2018 for “Danger.”
