Art Show Bedford is returning in January 2026 for its 53rd year. ASB is known for its warm atmosphere and high-quality art. Many of the artists are present throughout the show, and enjoy mingling with the patrons.
This year’s show will feature 45 artists; some are new to the show and others are old friends. There will be beautiful work available across a range of media and price points.
The committee takes great pride in the invitation that is sent out in the first week of January. Tara Deeks, chair of the art show, says “It is sent to well over 1000 homes and sets the stage for the show, so the art work we feature is very important. In recent years we have featured longtime friends of the show and renowned local artists, Julie Testwuide, Carol Bouyoucos, Shelley Dell, Rachel White, Betty Ball and Mireille Duschesne. This year we will feature the work of Kendall Klingbeil.” Kendall is a Pound Ridge based artist who is well known for her versatility and range of styles. She has painted a stunning and unique view of the iconic Bedford Oak. The painting will be available for purchase at the preview party on Friday, January 23.
Art Show: Bedford’s preview party is one of the most popular events on Bedford’s winter calendar. Delicious hors d’oeuvres will be served courtesy of Happiness Is. Popular local band, Mark Weigel & Friends, will ensure things stay lively, assisted by the generous pouring hands of the Men of St. Matthew’s at the bar. For 53 years St Matthew’s has held Art Show: Bedford with the same and simple mission: to showcase local artists and support local charities. Ms. Deeks explains “Many of our charities have remained the same over the years and we are confident that the organizations we support are maximizing the benefit of every dollar. In many instances, parishioners of St Matthews are board members or active supporters, so we try to do more than just write a check.”

The silent auction runs throughout the show and closes at 3pm on the final day – this year it will feature exciting items from dog training to holiday homes.
