Special, Free Student Opportunity

Up to 30 students in grades 4-12 can Join the Continental Army with an immersive experience guided by the Living History Foundation. Students will be recruited into the army, learn to pitch a Revolutionary War era tent, and to march as a unit. They will then be part of the honor guard during the Reconciliation Event at noon and process with the living history interpreters to Pierson Park at 12:45 pm.

Students will be given a free tricorn hat to take home. They should dress casually for the experience. Students can leave after the noon event in Sleepy Hollow but we hope they will join the procession to the Pierson Park events.
