HudCo Presents announced the next installment of its relaunched concert series: a performance by Brass Monkeys, an electrifying six-piece brass band ensemble hailing from Brooklyn. The show takes place on Friday, October 2 inside HudCo, a beautifully renovated industrial space on the Dobbs Ferry waterfront in the Hudson Valley.
Brass Monkeys is a brass band breathing new life into the soulful sounds of New Orleans. With a repertoire that effortlessly blends the infectious rhythms of the Crescent City with irresistible pop covers, our musical journey is a foot-stomping, heart-pounding experience like no other. After their set, DJ Freesoul Johnson will keep people moving on the dance floor with an infectious mix of New Orleans funk classics.
The HudCo space features a thoughtfully curated vendor area including an edibles bar, ceremonial cacao, plus a New Orleans-themed menu from celebrated Hudson Valley chef Eric Korn of Cabbage Hill Farm, among other distinctive amenities — making the evening as much a sensory experience as a concert.
