The Village of Buchanan is gearing up for the 3rd Annual Buchanan Day 5K, taking place on Saturday, September 13th at 10:30 AM at the Village Pavilion. This unique community race brings together families, runners, and even alpacas for a festive morning on the course.
Proceeds from the event directly support community initiatives including volunteer emergency services, beautification efforts, and scholarships for local youth programs.
“The Buchanan Day 5K is more than just a race — it’s about neighbors coming together to celebrate health, connection, and giving back,” said Stella Filocco, race organizer.
