Westchester’s Winter Wonderland Returns to Kensico Dam Plaza November 23-December 31

Westchester’s Winter Wonderland Drive Thru Holiday Light event will return to Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla for its eleventh season from November 23 through December 31, 2024. Tickets are on sale starting September 23.

This interactive holiday event will be bigger and better than ever with thousands of electrifying lights creating magical vignettes, two 100-foot light tunnels and a live Santa Claus. New features for 2024 include:

  • A new 125-foot pixel LED wall filled with thousands of animated lights that will illuminate scenes of the winter night sky complete with captivating northern lights.
  • New Live Ice Queen Character that will greet guests at the beginning of the ride and create a magical snow experience for all to enjoy!
  • New Festivus Pole, straight out of a Seinfeld episode, where you can air your grievances at this traditional aluminum Festivus pole!
  • New OtoCast App that will allow families to hear magical stories of the larger-than-life light displays along the route.  The app is available for free to download through wwinterwonderland.com
  • Special themed nights including a Taylor ‘Swiftie’ Night November 27, Princess themed Night December 5, and family-friendly festive New Year’s December 31

Starting Saturday, November 23rd at 5:00 p.m., the festive celebration takes place six consecutive weeks through December 31, 2024, starting at 5:30p.m. weekdays and on Saturday – Sundays at 5:00p.m.  *End times vary per night. Tickets are $37 per vehicle, making it a great value for families.  (additional cost for large passenger vans/limos, call for special reservations). Reservations are required to avoid additional surcharges.

Holiday classics will be simulcast through your vehicle’s FM radio, setting the mood from the moment you enter the park. Guests should allow 25-30 minutes to drive thru the attraction.

When purchasing tickets, guests will have the option to donate additional fund to Westchester Parks Foundation to help expand its Camp Morty program for underserved youth along with Westchester Medical Center Health Network Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital.
