Five authors gather in what appears to be an ordinary film studio. Soon, they find themselves on a Caribbean Island. It’s all for fun in Fred Carmichael’s comedic murder mystery Done to Death performed by Sleepy Hollow High School students in November.
“We often perform serious dramas,” said Director Peter Kennedy. “I wanted to provide the students with a broader opportunity to stretch their comedic side. They have come up with great ideas.”
“It is tongue-in-cheek,” commented senior Max Cover who plays a sophisticated and pretentious author. “The audience will definitely feel part of the show.”
Sophomore Frankie Puleo said, “I loved …especially getting close to the cast. You feel like a family by the time you are done.”
Kennedy thanks the Foundation for the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns for their support
