Third- and fourth-graders harvested carrots, squash, beans, herbs and other vegetables on Oct. 20 for Pocantico Hills School’s annual Harvest Soup Day. In addition to picking vegetables, the students also saved seeds to plant for next year’s crops.
Students and staff look forward to the event every year. The cafeteria served the soup on Oct. 28.
