With this issue we are adding a new feature to the publication called REEL TIME.
Readers will now be able to watch stories as well as read them at RiverJournalOnline.com.
We have chosen to film a farewell interview with the former Mayor of Sleepy Hollow, Philip Zegarelli on the day he left office. He talks candidly about his 23 years of community service to the Village he was born and raised in.
In addition we have taken a visual tour of Hudson Harbor whose first phase of development will soon be offered to the public. The site on Tarrytown’s waterfront will be a mixture of townhouses, condominiums and retail space. The attention to detail throughout the development is impressive and readily conveyed through the camera’s lens.
Our third REEL TIME venture takes one into Eclipse Salon in Tarrytown. The award-winning full-service salon was chosen as a representative of one of the many unique and successful businesses in the river towns.
This current Mayors, Money & Moms edition is a composite of prominent local figures, school and village budgets and those wonders of humankind, — mothers. In addition, our eclectic contributing writers, all of whom live or work locally, have added to the vitality of the printed page.
With spring in full stride there is a sense of hope that comes with warmer weather and a return to colorful flowers and greening trees. We wish our readers enjoyment and peace of mind. For our part we will keep doing what we do best, in print and now on REEL TIME at RiverJournalOnline.com as well.
