Gateway Chamber Honors Crème de la Crème de la Community

Six prominent organizations and individuals were publicly saluted for their good works in the civic and business sectors at the annual Stars Along the Hudson awards brunch sponsored by the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce, on Sunday, June 1, at Crotonville Conference Center (since renamed Windrose on Hudson).  

Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Carole Voisey asked for a moment of silence in memory of recently deceased local jazz legend Ray Blue, whose jazz ensemble performed each year at the event.

Joanna Jimenez (right), who accepted Quality of Life Award on behalf of Support Connection, celebrated with Jefferson Valley Mall Manager Matt Miller and Chamber Board Member Karen Trendell.

 

Young Professional of the Year Shannon Sullivan (center) accepted her honor from Chamber Vice Chair Justin Wingenroth and Chamber Executive Director Carole Voisey.

Business of the Year was awarded to Go No Sen Karate, represented by Andrew Casale (center), flanked by (from left) Tyler Smith, DJ Disisto and Brian Conklin.
