Meet Lucas!
Lucas is a 5-year-old Havanese.
Lucas is a very loving dog. He loves lots of cuddle time with his family and you can truly say he is a mama’s boy. He likes meeting new people but has to get to know them well before he shares his toys, hugs, and licks with them.
Lucas loves to walk on his favorite familiar paths at the Irvington Nature Center and the River Walk leading to Lyndhurst Castle. On our walks he always looks back to make sure he knows how to always get back to the house or car. He leads us through the nature center and without him I would get lost.
Lucas only barks when someone appears to be invading his space, such as the delivery person or anyone that comes to our front door. His favorite playtime activities are tag (aka – catch me if you can – he is extra fast and a good jumper so the game can go on for a while) and a game we call “spotlight on Lucas” where he tries to catch the moving light.
His absolute favorite treat is Trader Joe’s Smoked Chicken Tenders. His favorite pastime is sitting by the front door window looking at the world pass by while he enjoys the safety and coziness of his home.
