Zero Waste Task Force: Where Else Could Our Garbage Go?

WASS members are touring the Material Recovery Facility in Yonkers, which processes the county’s recycling, on February 11. On Wednesday, February 18th at 7:30 over Zoom, we will report what we’ve learned at our Zero Waste Task Force meeting, and we hope to see you there!
We will also share updates on the city-by-city initiative that we’re running this year to reduce and divert waste from the incinerator in each municipality and talk about the next facility tour we’re taking, of the CompostEd educational facility in Valhalla on March 18.
