Zero Waste Task Force: CompostEd tour – keeping food scraps out of the incinerator?

Where else could our garbage go? Join on 3/18 to learn about food scraps recycling in Westchester. We will recap our field trip to the CompostEd facility in Valhalla, which showcases the county’s food scrap recycling process, and hear from Legislator Erika Pierce of District 2 and chairperson of the Parks and Environment Committee, and show you how your municipality stacks up against Westchester’s best composters!
