Zero Waste Task Force: Clean Air and Children’s Health

Do you have questions about the impacts of air pollution on children’s health? Join our November Zero Waste Task Force. We will be joined by guest speaker Dr. Amy Brown, a pediatric pulmonologist, to help answer questions like: Is it safe for my child to play sports today? Why are asthma rates so high? Where is air pollution coming from, both indoor and outdoor? How do I protect my kids’ health? What do I need to watch out for?
Dr. Amy Brown is a pediatric pulmonologist with Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center and Boston Children’s Health Physicians, an Environmental Health Scholar and Liaison at Children’s Environmental Health Center of the Hudson Valley (NYSCheck), and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at New York Medical College.
