Where Do Donated Clothes Go? Fall Luncheon & Panel Discussion

October 25 @ 11:30 am - 2:00 pm

Join us on Friday, October 25th for our second annual panel discussion and luncheon. We are thrilled to have Lee Woodruff, author, journalist and co-founder of the Bob Woodruff Foundation, as our panel moderator.

Our subject this year – where do donated clothes go and how can we donate mindfully and sustainably?

Our panelists will track the path of donated clothing, from your donations to the overflow from the apparel industry. We will give you both an insider’s view on how to donate mindfully and sustainably as well as an understanding of the impact of clothing donations on others.

Lee Woodruff, (author, journalist, and co-founder of the Bob Woodruff Foundation) moderates a panel with:

Dr. Audrey Brutus, Supervisor of Social Emotional Learning & Community Engagement Public Schools of the Tarrytown
Dan Green, CEO and Co-Founder of Helpsy. Dan traded in his Wall Street career as an economist and portfolio manager to start Helpsy, a certified B Corp with an environmental mission to keep clothes out of the trash, to create honorable work and to be profitable.
Matt Fasciano, President and Chief Executive Officer of Delivering Good, a national nonprofit that unites retailers, manufacturers, foundations, and individuals to provide people impacted by poverty and tragedy with new merchandise
