THE BOY FROM BLOCK 66: BOOK TALK WITH AUTHOR DR. LIMOR REGEV

Dr. Limor Regev, author of The Boy from Block 66, will talk about her book, the true and inspiring story of Holocaust survivor Moshe Kessler.
In January 1945, Moshe Kessler, then 14-years-old, stepped off the train at Buchenwald concentration camp. Having endured the horrors of Auschwitz-Birkenau, losing touch with his entire family, and surviving the death march in the freezing European winter, he had already seen more than his share of tragedy. He does not know that the camp’s underground has decided to do everything in order to save the children. Dr. Regev presents this remarkable account of how humanity can prevail even in the darkest of places. The presentation includes authentic photos suitable for teens and adults.
The event is free and RSVP’s are required. The exact location of this event will be provided to attendees after registration. Click https://www.ghcny.org/event/adult-education-program-book-talk.html to RSVP. Questions, contact Lisa at: Adulteducation@ghcny.org.
