Matt Hyams is a comedy writer, comedian, content creator, and husband to an entrepreneurial perimenopausal wife. After posting “tips for men whose wives are going through perimenopause” video on Instagram and it going viral with millions of views – and being featured in People Magazine – Matt realized this is who he is now.
With that said, I’m not just the “king of perimenopause” (self-anointed), I’m also a stand up comedian and comedy writer. My 1/2 hr TV pilot, “On the Line” won Stage32’s 4th Annual TV Comedy Screenwriting Competition;. Matt has performed in stand up festivals around the country; and his satire writing has appeared in McSweeney’s. Matt is also a satirical business keynote speaker, am the creator of ego-baby.com, a satirical site that spoofs the new age/spirituality scene (think goop.com meets The Onion) and the podcast, The Only Advice You Need, an extension of my satirical keynote character, that offers terrible – bizarre – leadership advice.
