May 4 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Join us on Saturday, May 4th, for a hands-on presentation about Algonkian life in the Northeast during the 18th Century with Drew Shuptar-Rayvis (Pekatawas MakataweU “Black Corn”). Drew will take us on a journey that will examine changes in Algonkian life during the early-1700s, including daily living, customs of war, adoption/captivity, alliances, and friendships and marriages between Natives, Europeans and Africans. He will also bring several traditional items and artifacts to examine.
