$10Tompkins Corners Cultural Center will present the official authorized full-length documentary “Lead Belly: The Man Who Invented Rock & Roll,” which explores the extraordinary journey of music icon Huddie “Lead Belly” Ledbetter. It features interviews with music legends such as B.B. King, Pete Seeger, Janice Joplin, Paul McCartney, and more. With rare video footage and electrifying music performances, viewers are taken on a remarkable ride through Lead Belly’s defiance of two prison sentences, ultimately leading to Carnegie Hall and his induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
