Gidion’s Knot

Westchester County’s premier theatre company, GoJo Clan Productions, presents Johnna Adams’ award-winning play, Gidion’s Knot. Over the course of a parent/teacher conference, a grieving mother and an emotionally overwhelmed primary school teacher have a fraught conversation about the tragic suicide of the mother’s son, Gidion. Was Gidion bullied severely — or was he an abuser? As layers of misunderstanding are peeled away, Gidion’s Knot will leave you reflecting on the fragility of human connections and the weight of unspeakable truths. A deeply powerful exploration of grief, loss and responsibility.

Gidion’s Knot runs weekends January 17-26. Performance times are Fridays at 8 p.m.; Saturdays at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.; Sundays at 3 p.m. at Westchester Collaborative Theater, 23 Water Street, Ossining, NY 10562.
