Tom Heany is an award-winning Hudson Valley songwriter. His songs are rooted in the traditional music of the United States and the Great American Songbook of the 1930s and 1940s.
“If I Had God’s Ear” is his second song suite, each song a vignette of a person in a pivotal moment; in that moment, each one says a prayer. This presentation of “If I Had God’s Ear” is a collaboration between songwriter Tom Heany and pianist/composer/arranger Pablo Mayor.
