Changing Suburbs Institute® Annual Forum at Manhattanville University

The Changing Suburbs Institute® Annual Educational Forum at Manhattanville University will bring together educators, students, school leaders, and community partners to explore how schools can better support increasingly diverse suburban communities. Held at Reid Castle, the forum will focus on strengthening connections among schools, families, and community organizations while fostering belonging and opportunity for all students.

The event will feature a keynote address by Wilmer Chavarria, Superintendent of the Winooski School District, who is nationally recognized for advancing equity-driven school systems that support multilingual learners and first-generation students.

Student leadership will also be highlighted through a panel with students from the Puerto Rican Hispanic Youth Leadership Institute and a breakout session led by members of the Hastings-on-Hudson High School Affinity Club focused on student-driven approaches to belonging and community engagement.
