Dreams “R” Us:
Simon: 40-65: big and mean
Gladys: his wife: 40-65, somewhat more cultured
Adele: Gladys’ 18 year old daughter
John and Allen, juniors at the University of Alabama.
Our Lady Of:
Ginger Mahmood: 40-50, a former stripper married to Dr. Wassim Mahmood.
Lourdes Zimmer: 40-50, a recently widowed mail order bride from Columbia.
The Tattooed Woman:
Olive Stratton: having been kidnapped by Native Americans in her twenties and tattooed, she returns home 13 years later to find her husband has remarried.
She now lives by herself in a desert shack.
John Stratton: older than Olive: poor when Olive was taken, now rich and remarried.
Bonet: 25-60, John Stratton’s foreman, afraid of making a mistake.
Ruban Vega: 25-50; a Mexican rustler, not afraid to use a gun, discovers Olive.
Diego Luz: 25-60: a seller of horses and Ruben’s friend.
