50-Year Photographic Journey of the Hudson River
April 2 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Free
Joseph Squillante has been photographing the Hudson River for 50 years. He has traveled the length of the river, from its source at Lake Tear of the Clouds on Mount Marcy in the Adirondacks to its mouth at New York Harbor. Like the Hudson River landscape painters before him, some of his photographs capture the beauty and romantic quality of the river while others focus on people who live and work along its shores, including farmers, fishermen and biologists.
Well-respected by the Hudson River community, he works with organizations such as Riverkeeper, Clearwater and Scenic Hudson who has recognized him as a “Hudson Valley Hero.”
ABOUT THE PRESENTER
