Village of Tarrytown’s Reverse 911 Notification System

Village of TarrytownThe Village of Tarrytown operates a telephone contact notification system known as Reverse 911 which calls your telephone to provide you information regarding various events affecting either you or the Village.  In the past, the Village has provided notification via the Reverse 911 system during disasters, weather/snow emergencies, Village office closures, hydrant flushing and other information that the Village deems pertinent to its residents and businesses.  If you do not receive the Reverse 911 phone calls on your home phone number or should you want to add your cell phone to this notification system, you may add the phone number to the system by going to the Village’s website (www.tarrytowngov.com).  On the home page, you will note the “Links for Residents”.  Click on “Reverse 911 Self Registration” and follow the directions on the link.

Should you be interested in removing your phone number from the Reverse 911 system, please send an email to tarrytownpd@aol.com, note that you want your phone number removed from the system and provide the phone number(s) you want removed from the system.  It will usually take up to one week for the removal of your phone number.
