During this time of year when many high schools were getting ready for their Senior Prom, the residents and staff at Tarrytown Hall Care Center were doing the same thing. About 70 residents, family members, staff, students and teachers from Sleepy Hollow High School attended the 5th Annual Senior Prom at Tarrytown Hall Care Center on Tuesday, June 7. The dining room was elegantly decorated in silver and purple balloons, streamers and stars; a photo booth was set up for posed photographs, the DJ played music from the 50’s to present day, and the dance floor was never empty. The enthusiasm that the students generated on the dance floor was contagious. “This was my first Prom and I was voted Queen! I was so happy,” said Rita Maguire. The King was Tobias Cury and herecalled going to his high school Prom. “I probably danced more at this Prom than my high school Prom.” Rita Maguire and Tobias Cury are pictured here with some of the students from Sleepy Hollow High School.
