The local theater troupe, Den of Thieves, will be performing Shakespeare’s The Tempest in Tarrytown on August 10th, 11th, and 12th.
The play is being co-directed by the troupe’s founders, Polina Ionina and Katy Wood, both of whom are graduates of Sleepy Hollow High School. Wood and Ionina introduced the Den of Thieves last year with a performance of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream and many of the same actors will be appearing in this year’s production. The troupe will hold its performance in Neperan Park at 7:00pm. Admission is free and refreshments will be sold. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs. Come and enjoy Shakespeare under the stars.
