From Raymond Sanchez…Superintendent of Ossining Schools

Dear Class of 2017:

Congratulations to each and every one of you!  You have reached a huge milestone in your life because of your hard work and commitment. You have dedicated time to your studies and activities, and that devotion has brought you to this moment. Our entire District and community are proud of all you have accomplished.

As you graduate from Ossining High School, you now look toward the future and decisions about what to do with the rest of your lives. Instead of focusing on specific jobs you need to complete or the amount of money you need to make, I encourage you to begin with some reflection. Consider asking yourself, “What am I deeply passionate about? What motivates me? What matters most to me in life?”

Answering these questions, also known as finding your “Why?”, will help drive you to improve your life, inspire others and make the world a better place.

I hope you will always look back at your years in the Ossining School District with pride and great memories. Our unique student body is what makes our District so very special. I wish you the best of luck in all your future endeavors. Please know that we will always be here for you if there is anything you should need.

Sincerely yours,

Raymond Sanchez

Superintendent of Schools
