On June 8, at 6 pm, Mahopac National Bank will host an awards event at its Mount Kisco location, 293, Lexington Ave, in honor of Westchester Rotary Clubs’ participation in the 2011-12 Literacy Grant Program. Rotary members from these clubs, Rotarians from Mahopac National Bank and Bank President and CEO Gerald Klein will be in attendance.
Mr. Klein will be receiving an award from George Camp, District Governor 7230, honoring Mahopac National Bank for its support of the ongoing Literacy Grant Program. Since the program’s inception in 2006, Mahopac National Bank has donated more than $50,000 to support over 40 individual Rotary initiatives promoting literacy. This program has afforded the clubs a chance to develop unique ways to promote literacy in their communities, as well as allowing Mahopac National Bank a meaningful way to continue its commitment to the communities it serves.
