Dr. Charles Scioscia has recently opened his practice at 200 South Broadway in Tarrytown. He is a 1968 graduate of Hastings High School and attended State University of New York at Stony Brook Medical School, graduating in 1979. He attended NYU-Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine for residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, graduating in 1984.
After several years as Director of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Bronx-Lebanon Medical Center he transferred to Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. There he was active in developing the program of intra-operative neurophysiologic spinal cord monitoring for spine surgery. He is Clinical Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He has been in private practice since 2007. Additionally, Dr. Scioscia attended graduate school in Public Health at New York Medical College in Valhalla, graduating in 2007 with a Master’s Degree in Public Health. He will specialize in low back pain, arthritis, neck, shoulder, knee and hip pain, in addition to peripheral nerve injury, electrodiagnosis (EMG/NCS), stroke rehabilitation and general rehabilitation.
