Student Athlete of the Month: Sophomore Soccer Star Kicks It into High Gear

‘He will always push himself to be the best Chase’ –Coach Peter Pryschlak, Panas Boys Varsity Soccer

Chase Ferguson is a 10th grader at Walter Panas High School who plays right winger on Boys Varsity Soccer. Shauna Kerr is his mom, Richard Ferguson his dad and his brother is Christian Ferguson.

Says Boys Varsity Soccer Coach Peter Pryschlak, “Chase is a first year varsity player who came into the season and impacted our team right away. He found his way into the starting lineup due to his work ethic, technical ability and speed. He will always push himself to be the best Chase. I’ve seen him grow this season both on and off the field. He scored the lone goal to sweep our inter-district rival Lakeland. He continues to improve and has scored several goals this season. He’s a pleasure to coach.”
